What a week here at The Co-Op. When the few of us 1st started talking about about creating a new site, I'm pretty sure none of thought this site would come together as quickly as it did. Thanks to everyone who believed in this community, to give this shot. It's only going to get better.

Without any UofA sports going on.... the dead season of all college fan sites.... we started this site and in 1 week:

The board has been up and running for approx. 17 months now and I gotta say it has to be one the most user friendly board I visit. Navigation is as easy as it can be and I can't remember having a board wide glitch of any kind. Well done boss.

Funny story. When TOS was dying and some of us on the Facebook group were wondering what to do I suggested we create our own as it's really pretty simple to set up a basic board. Anyway, I hadn't started up a board in years and for the hell of it decided to see how simple it was to set up with my web host that I have a number of domains under. I spent 5 minutes starting up a quick and dirty phpbb board and shared the link in the group.

Well, long story short...the idea originally was "hey, look how easy it is, someone should set one up". I wasn't thinking, or planning, that it would be me. I was just demonstrating that many of us had the capability. Well...2 hours later there were 50 of us on my 'example' board and it snowballed from there.

Running this board was not my thought AT ALL. lol.

But, I've just done the back end. Jmark, Chicat, and all the other mods/admins have done the heavy lifting within the community. And Mytwocents purchased the current domain. So they all deserve a round of applause. It all came together rather organically and really shows the strength of this community.
