Las Vegas places to eat...
Heading to Vegas and looking for suggestions for good places to eat relatively cheap. I've heard great things about Tacos El Gordo. Looking for a great burger place and any other recommendations.

Nora's on Flamingo (just East of Jones) is our favorite ma & pa Italian joint. It's not cheap, but it's not expensive either - considering the great food - great value.
There's a fun pizza place in Cosmo (third floor) that doesn't have a name or signs or anything. It's called "Hidden Pizza" but you won't find it anywhere really. You just head to the third floor and look for the long hallway with records hanging on it. It's fun for sure for a late night bite.
Hash House a Go Go is our favorite breakfast spot. We go to the local one on Sahara but there is one on the Strip in The Quad (across from Caesars) too.
There ya go - a couple suggestions for you anyway.
Cheers,
BDV

Are the spots on Bar Rescue/Hungry Investors worth anything?
(I can assume the answer, but yes, I am addicted to bar rescue)

I really liked the Spanish/tapas restaurant inside the cosmo. Of course with gin and tonics/sangria/10 courses for me and 2 buddies the bill was about $400 soo take it how you like
Re: Las Vegas places to eat...
For years the seafood buffet at Main Street Station was tops in the Vegas buffet scene. It's been 5 years since I was last there however.

I second the Pizza place in the Cosmo. Open late, great pie's and i met Rip Hamilton there once. Great New York style pizza.Bear Down Vegas wrote:Nora's on Flamingo (just East of Jones) is our favorite ma & pa Italian joint. Re: Las Vegas places to eat...
I was just there 2 week ago, but I didn't eat anywhere cheap, except the In-n-Out on the way out of town (tradition).
Lagasse Stadium had a very good burger, solid fried oyster Po'Boy (if only to remember what they tasted like in N'awlins), and some of the best wings I'd ever had. Not cheap, but not over-the-top pricey like so many celeb chef places - you can get out of there for $25-30/person.
I always liked eating in the bar at Smith & Wollensky's (on the strip just N of MGM), can usually get out of there for same price as Lagasse Stadium.
Heard great things about Bautista's on Flamingo, another "ma & pa" eye-talian joint that makes a great red gravy.
I'll second Lotus of Siam, although I don't remember too much specifically from the experience.
I know a number of people who swear by Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill, but that ain't exactly cheap either.

But in my book, you gotta get to White Castle before the weirdos show up!

Don't be fooled by his (somewhat) personable TV demeanor, Bobby Flay is an A1 asshole.

There is a 4 story Twin Peaks attached to the Planet Hollywood on the south corner facing the strip. Prices are higher there than in Phoenix, but it is a good place to watch a game....and other things!

I've always liked Battistas Hole in the Wall across from Bally's. Can't complain about all you can drink free wine. If you want something in one of the hotels and you don't mind being treated like crap, try Dick's Last Resort at Excalibur. Food isn't too bad and not too expensive, but it's more of an "experience" kind of thing.
Re: Las Vegas places to eat...
Had both Tacos el Gordo and Bachi Burger today. Recommend both very highly.
