Haha now that was a good laugh LH. we had lunch and the manager who heard it from Reynolds was right in front of me so no doubt the words I heard are accurate. He simply said they just didn't know if they would be here. I pressed but the guy knew nothing more.

You are right in that it probably means nothing and that is great. Since I know the kid and his pops I could say a lot more but I dont about things with the team. I thought this was interesting and could be a topic we could talk about here in our community without it being disruptive. Given the replies, you are right that some hot bent out of shape and for that I apologize but it was what was said.

I hope Miller and crew are here for 25 more years. I think the whole FBI thing should be directed at the shoe companies not at a few college programs who get the top 25 guys.

The facts are he said he had a conversation with someone and they said something...beyond that there are no "facts" because its a private conversation and we do not know the full context because none of us were there...

Facts are funny things, they depend on context.

Just a guess, but a good guess: Dismissing the testimony of one FBI agent in this investigation won't undermine the entirety of the investigation. Sometimes an agent, a cop, a professor, or a Lowes manager will do something ill-advised, unethical, or illegal. When it happens, it doesn't discredit the institution in its entirety. Look at the bigger picture.

Seems incredibly coincidental that in the last five or so days, the coaches went from completely sedentary to mass offering and visiting recruits. Even if this doesn't impact UofA one way or another, it seems as if the coaches feel a lot more comfortable in their standing in the investigation than they did a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not sure this is exactly a good thing...I have maintained all along that Miller is innocent and the program will emerge, but if this ends up as a "dismissal" sort of event, it could trigger the NCAA to start their four year investigation early...

The less we hear about this case now the better, it's not like our ADJ D needs anymore distractions...

Besides didn't they get Book on tape? If IIRC the FBI guy only played a minimal role in Books stupidity...

Hearsay??????? I don't think you understand. We will not be judged in a court of law. We are going to be judged by the NCAA...........who is the JUDGE, JURY, and EXECUTIONER. The Book tapes will be all they need.

The freaking internal investigation should be done by now. If we have screwed the pooch we need to end this ASAP.

Bottom line we need to recruit actual players that are not midgets/slow footed/non-athletic.

The only way we do that is to get out of NCAA hell.

The fastest way out is to Self Sanction and take the punishment ASAP. If we take the hit this March we can get back to
recruiting real players with a reasonable chance the NCAA will leave us alone.

Note: If our investigation shows we are innocent we should not self-sanction.....but we still need to push the case with the NCAA as hard and fast as we can to get it behind us.

Face it folks......this team is NOT going to make some magical NCAA Final Four run.

If I am not mistaken the FBI told the schools and NCAA to back off until they were through with their own investigation, the internal investigation is probably nowhere near done, its been put on hold.
