42 Dylan Klumph
Klumph is a 6-3, 229, redshirt Senior punter from Cal and Malibu, CA. A grad transfer, Klumph immediately improves our special teams. Arizona was absolutely abysmal, ranking dead stinking last in the country in punting last year. The good news - we can only improve. Klumph is key to how much the Wildcat punting game will improve. He averaged 43 yards/punt last year (4th in the conference) and has a career average of 43.9 which is the best mark in Cal history. Not only is his average good, but 29 of his 96 career punts were placed inside the 20 and only 6 went for touchbacks. I couldn't find a specific reason for Klumph's transfer, but it looks may it be a dissatisfaction with the new coaching staff. Cal's loss could be a huge gain for Arizona!
52 is the most consecutive starts by an Arizona Wildcat football player. Micky Baucus (2011-2014) is Arizona's iron man and he did it in the trenches at left tackle to make it even more impressive.
