Last year little 5'6"JJ Taylor got ejected in the 2nd quarter for tackling a guy. Cal guy goes helmet to helmet not making a play on the ball and decleats Hayes...but no targeting as its not "significant contact". Not sure about that one.

This. I'm actually pleasantly surprised, the D has been mediocre to decent in Conference play. If you'd told me we'd give up 24 to USC, I'd have taken it. And they've (so far) held Cal in check pretty much...

That was the greatest play ever. Saw that fumble coming from a mile away, but for it to bounce like that to our guy running in stride is incredible.

There was an LB or CB in the foreground of the replay, but the D end and the middle LB's crashed down in the middle, which would indicate a Tate keep.
