We have five playable players. Es no bueno.
Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
Dylan Smith with a fucking contested 23 footer with 12 seconds on shot clock
Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
Still baffles me why Doutrive hasn't even sniffed the floor. Its not like Smith/Akot are tearing it up.
Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
When did Dylan Smith get the green light?

I would take Doutrive's offensive upside over playing 4 on 5 on offense.

He seems to have greatly regressed

Hopefully Doutrive gets some minutes tonight since our guards are gassed
Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
I just want Doutrive to get a bucket for RAP.

there's the distance akot should be shooting from 100% of the time

Showing some life. We need to get stops and push the ball. Our half court offense is really lacking

Coleman had Luther behind him on his right. I am not disappointed by the shot going in

The pace of this game favors us. Just need some offensive consistency.

akot could have dribbled that towards the rim, dished off if the guy stepped up to stop him.
instead jacks up another missed 3.
sigh

This game is awful basketball. 26-22 with 1.12 to go in the half. It's not defense keeping the score low either. It's terrible offense.

Akot and Smith must have compromising pictures of Miller with RRods secretary

So. Many. FOULS.
But it's a game, so maybe we'll have a good second half and surprise people.

Without the ball in Coleman's hands offensive possessions go to waste.
Mike Luke's burner account.

Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
we shoulda had coleman on the court to end the half.
would have been nice to see a replay on that last offensive foul call.
but for whatever reason they didn't show one

What is Luther’s role? Plays a lot, doesn’t rebound or score. Maybe touches the ball once every few minutes. Is he just a filler?

Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
Also Jeter did not travel 2 possessions prior. Bobbled the ball, and his left foot never moved anyways. Right foot bounced 4 times though which gave appearance of traveling (to the untrained and/or blind eye)PieceOfMeat wrote:we shoulda had coleman on the court to end the half.

The Brandon's have 2 points & 7 to's
13 to's total for the half

Luther has zero athleticism. Can't make his own shot......... He's easy to guard.loomer wrote:Besides the boards, he was invisible against Zaga too.OSUCat wrote:What is Luther’s role? Plays a lot, doesn’t rebound or score. Maybe touches the ball once every few minutes. Is he just a filler?
Luther is what happens when ESPN does a hit job on your coach late in the season and decimates your recruiting class

Hence my post in the 2018-19 thread ranking the players. It’s basically Coleman and then a big gap to Jeter and another big gap to the Brandons and then a huuuuge gap to Luther and an even bigger gap to everybody else. Do we rim out more than anybody else, or is it just self-absorption to think so? Not a sexual reference, btw.
