So we are playing 3 on 8 every game. And that lasts for 30+ minutes before the crushing weight finally collapses us. Frustrating.

The other guys have better players folks.
Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
Can we cut Akot?
Luther has to play a lot cause Akot and Lee are negatives offensively. At least he doesn't do dumb stuff and people have to guard him at the 3pt line.

I want Coleman to start bitching out akot and smith like her did to Williams in the red blue game

That's what so frustrating. It really feels like we could've won tonight.RawleArenas wrote:If we could just get ANY decent offense from our bench we could win this thing.
But we did keep it close, so successful trip.

backbreaking run and we don't have the firepower to keep up.
game's over
game's over
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

Auburn actually has depth. We have a subpar bench.

Now that ESPN has seen Akot/Smith/Lee up close they have finally realized that these guys stink too bad to pay.Postmaster wrote:Interesting that they haven’t mentioned FBI during this game

Why are they highlighting Randolph when we are getting our ass kicked?

Arizona will lose every game that Jeter gets in foul trouble.

AU bench has 31 pts
Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
I watch Auburn players flash to the open spot during a double team. Arizona players have no fucking clue how to move and get open without the ball. It's maddening because it takes zero talent to read the defense and move to an open space.

Basketball is just like school, you get out what you put in. I hate watching us playing sloppy and dejected.zonagrad wrote:I watch Auburn players flash to the open spot during a double team. Another close one that ends in a blowout. I'm going to be like a depressed fat girl tomorrow and eat, eat, eat.

Is it me or did the officiating just take is out of rhythm?
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Now that Miller has figured out how to recruit guards, he needs to find blue collar front court players and move away from this finesse ball.
Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
Watching Jeter I see what Chance Comanche could have been with another year or two.RawleArenas wrote:Now that Miller has figured out how to recruit guards, he needs to find blue collar front court players and move away from this finesse ball.

Re: Game 6, vs Auburn, at Maui Invitiational (2018-2019)
Kinda funny. We always have decent to very good front court players with mediocre to above average guard play. Finally got the guards. Too bad Coleman didn't come a year earlier.RawleArenas wrote:Now that Miller has figured out how to recruit guards, he needs to find blue collar front court players and move away from this finesse ball.

I think Chance was more athletic and a much stronger rim protector. Wasn't quite as mobile though.zonagrad wrote:Watching Jeter I see what Chance Comanche could have been with another year or two.RawleArenas wrote:Now that Miller has figured out how to recruit guards, he needs to find blue collar front court players and move away from this finesse ball.

So short sighted for Comanche to leave early.
This would’ve been his highlight year

Some kids just don't like going to college. I think that was the case with Comanche.
You can either go to class, study, do homework or play basketball all day.
