Reminds me a lot of the 2011 match v. Japan. The US just dominated the match, but ended up losing on PKs. USA had 27 shots on goal, Japan 14.

Nice work ladies!
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Rapinoe and Lavelle were great. Both had hamstring injuries. And not just this match. They are my two favorite players, and that is with a slew of great players including some coming off the bench like Press and Horan.

Interesting info:

And on the global pay issue ...

Caitlin Murray believes she hears chants of “equal pay.” Within US Soccer, that’s difficult to define. The women are on salary. The men aren’t. The women confine their player pool to the mid-30s -- the men use 50-60 players.

This year and last, the US women will outearn the men. By a lot. And few would argue that, given the failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

But World Cup prize money is skewed very heavily toward the men. Maybe that’s one of the reasons for this?

If you were wondering who the Brian is that Rapinoe gave a shout out to, it's her brother who spent half his life in prison and become a white supremacist there for survival.

All over conservative media today is the story of how the US women's soccer team is actually the overpaid oppessors and that they actually make more money than the men's team. The argument is that the women get 13% of their revenue and the men get 9%. Obviously it completely ignores the fact that with sponsorships the men's money pool is far larger and ignores that the men suck and the women actually win. Arguing that the men should be paid more to make up for the "true gender pay gap".
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

i'll just go with fuck asu.

“I’ll never buy Cheer again! I’m switching to Gain!”

“Gain is owned by Proctor too.”

“Then I’ll buy Tide!”

“Also P&G.”

“Era?”

“Sorry boss...”

“Dreft? Downy? Ariel? Bounce?”

“Yeah,..... uh.... Maybe we could just take a walk? Get some fresh air?”

“But how am I supposed to MAGA?!?”
