I agree. Worst case they score right away on a big play and we get the ball back with some time on the clock.

Even if you hate Sumlin, he have to admit this is what you want to see from your team and coaching staff... steady improvement.

With how the first half ended.....a no time left kickoff td return called back because our guy stepped out of bounds on his own.....i thought we were doomed for a typical AZ self-shooting-in-the-foot type of loss. So damn happy the D held when they did and the O played like they did and we gutted out that W in colorado.

We haven’t had an interior presence on the d-line like this in a looong time. Main issue on D now is that our corners are undersized and just get eaten up if they don’t knock down the pass. We’ll face more talented teams as the year progresses, so the challenge will get tougher.

Quality win on the road. I'd still like to see a little more improvement on defense but the Cats got the stops they needed today and that's what counts. They'll have to play out of their minds next week to have any chance of winning. A three man front won't get it done.

I flipped channels because I expected them to kick the ball out of the end zone. So glad I missed that play.
