Doutrive has been disappointing. Not that I don’t see any hope or way forward, but based on reports I expected better from him. This just feels like a continuation of last year—flashes of brilliance and a lot of frustration.

Especially from the reports from practice on how well he was playing.

Honestly, this is a game Ira should thrive in. 50/50 balls, hitting the glass, playing physical, throwing his body around in the paint on both ends.

Dont have this on DVR, but on the second one looked to me like Zeke called to switch and I dont think that was the plan. Then Green/Nico called the switch and Nico was on the top side, nobody baseline to catch the big rolling.

Josh needs to stop shooting the midrange pullup. Just take the wide open 3pter, confidently.
Or take him out because the dude guarding him is destroying our offense.

Or do something smart like running a low PnR then flip it and do it again ala how DWade and Iggy got away w/ their bad shooting and made their passing a positive.

There's like two players in basketball that can shoot pullup midrange shots effectively, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul. And even they they shoot to the equivalent of a bad 3pt shooter (32-33%).

Josh would have to be one of the best midrange shooters in any level of basketball for it to make any sense for him to take more than 2 per game.

I would substitute Jeter for Doutrive, but a good lineup none the less.
