Coleman is a 6-2, 218, redshirt Freshman linebacker from West Mesquite HS, Dallas, TX. He was a safety last year (and also listed as Dayven on the roster) who played in 4 games with 1 start at Spur making 11 tackles with 1.5 for a loss. Coleman was moved to linebacker in the off season and has impressed in the spring and fall and expected to help provide some relief for Schooler and Fields.
