I wouldn't mind if Herbie moved into the MNF booth full time if it isn't too much work for him to keep up his Gameday appearances and Saturday night announcing gigs. He did a great job last Monday and is miles more informed than the peanut gallery of usual clownery from Jason Witten and Booger McFarland.

What's kind of funny is that I just saw a tweet talking about how NFL teams won't fire coaches because Covid made this such a weird year and my reaction was "yeah fucking right, I bet Bill O'Brien gets canned before Week 6".

I suppose most concrete would absorb the slug, and a ricochet would probably be absorbed by the TV, so no Darwin event this time. But, Darwin is fully in force when somebody stands close and directly in front of a door and tries to "shoot open the lock" like on a television show, often resulting in a direct bounce-back off the steel and either serious injury or death. Anyway, as any responsible gun owner will agree, anybody who drinks heavily and watches a football game with a loaded gun in their pocket doesn't belong on the street. With that non-existent level of self-control and opportunity, how does it turn out for the bartender who cuts him off, the fan of an opposing team, or someone who honks their horn at his driving? Ridiculous.

Apparently that’s something McIntyre completely made up. The Giants weren’t even meeting in person when that incident supposedly happened due to Covid protocols.
