The Cal Poly Pomona O or the "new" offense Miller unleashed in the last two games? ;)

After the last 24 hours of basketball I have learned two things:

1. I need a nap.
2. Arizona is an offensive juggernaut.

My bet is if Kentucky loses, the voters will promptly move Dook to #1. Having to watch on mute, Dukie V is loving this year's team.

This is the second time I watched Kentucky this year and I already can't stand hearing about the white and blue platoons or teams. Why don't they just wear different color jerseys so it is easier to keep track of them?

It was about 10-7 when the second of those two guys went out.

Now 24-9.

Calipari quote: "You guys are looking too much into this platoon concept. If it works, it works, if it doesn't, we'll adjust. I talked to another coach in a competitive league today and he said 'we play 10 too, and no one is talking about platoon'".

It was like clockwork. He might have even been responsible for Embiid going down.

Enfuego has the reverse Midas touch. Everything he touched turned to shit.

UK was impressive...but I would have rather have seen a UK-Dook matchup. That would have been a good barometer...

And MSU and KU seem at the same level currently.

I was looking for a good game and this just depressed me. No team should be allowed to be this good.

Not great on offense maybe but 7 turnovers for the game. Add transition points off turnovers and points off putbacks and thats pretty much all this team needs to go undefeated for a long time.

Not expecting UA to be number one anytime soon now :(

Didn't watch any game tonight, but saw some scores.
That kentucky box score was impressive. Lots of minutes spread around, and of course the final score.

For as much hate as Calipari gets, he sure does get results (and, yes, ncaa violations too lol)
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

Kentucky played 10 guys with minutes ranging from 17-22 minutes. Their 2nd unit would be top 5. If Cal can convince all of his guys that they don't need to put up big numbers, or get big minutes to get drafted high, they are going to be on auto-pilot to the Final 4.

The minutes were spread out because of the "platoon" systemthat well have to hear about all season. Believe he subs every 5 minutes or something like that.

To be honest, as much as I hate Bill Self his team's usually improve vastly over the...until the tournament. Oddly enough Kansas usually has size to match up with a team like Kentucky, not last night.

That "improvement" is really just them beating up on shitty teams in the BigXII.

This is true but Kansas has lost to some mediocre teams in the beginning of the season in the past.

This year might be different though. No PG (Mason is worse than Tharpe), and no post presence.

People are putting way too much stock into one game.

When you think about March, remember that your bracket sucks every year cause you didn't expect or see "so and so" getting that far...

It is November 19th. Looooong season fellas, anything can happen.

Kentucky was good last night but I think that head to head we push them around in the paint. They have some great size height wise but nobody that is built like SJ, RHJ or Zeus. The only team that really scares me is still Wisconsin because they can shoot it from all five positions.

Frankly, if things go as planned the worry/concerns/questions that people have over playing UK are really only debatable on April 4th & 5th...

Yep I was gonna post something similar. They looked good vers an overrated, worse-than-usual KU team in November, good for them, I'm not shaking in my boots and never will this season. I'm still confident AZ can beat anyone in our path.
