Carr is a 5-11, 182, Freshman cornerback from Sam Houston HS, Arlington, TX. Last year he had 117 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and 1 blocked field goal. Here is the analysis from Brandon Combs at AZ Desert Swarm:
Carr is one of the most productive players in this class, and one of the most underrated.

He has reckless abandon while playing and plays with aggression. He is incredibly effective at playing the run and is not afraid to hit anyone. He already has pretty good tackling form, though there will be some things he’ll need to clean up in that area.

Carr is extremely active and does a good job at reading and reacting to plays. It seems he is always around the ball, as evidenced by his 117 tackles as a defensive back. In one of his games this past season, he racked up 26 tackles....as a defensive back.

He will need to gain more weight but that shouldn’t be an issue at the next level. And, as I mentioned above, he’ll need to solidify his tackling technique.

He is someone I can see as making an immediate impact his freshman season.
