ST. LOUIS (AP) — The NFL and Rams owner Stan Kroenke will pay $790 million to settle a lawsuit filed by St. Louis interests over the team’s relocation to Los Angeles.

The settlement announced Wednesday ends a lawsuit filed in 2017. The agreement does not include a promise to grant St. Louis an expansion team, ESPN reports.

The NFL should be paying 2/3rds of that settlement. Having a team and a crown jewel of a stadium in the second biggest market in the US is an enormous benefit they were missing for 20+ years.

I can’t believe they were able to win being short handed especially in the secondary.

Gotta keep the momentum going. To win the division they need the Cards to lose against Indy or Dallas AND against Seattle (or to both Indy & Dallas) and the Rams have to win out which will be no easy feat.

Hope Henderson can use this time to get healthy. We’ll need him.

Yep. Quite an uphill battle for sure. Hope Henderson gets back soon too but it was nice to see Michel running like a beast last night.

The DL put pressure all night which was another key as the secondary was really sketchy due to having to play backups.

It was great seeing Von Miller contribute. I thought he was a big reason why Murray wasn’t able to totally slice up the defense with his running ability.

Also, I was wrong about the OBJ signing. He’s shown up in a big way. Hopefully he buckles down and learns the playbook back to front. He could be that Robert Woods type we need (although he’ll never be the blocker Bobby Trees is).
