Steve Kerr
This is a bit off topic, but I just saw something on one of the Zags boards. They said that Steve Kerr was only offered by the Zags and they pulled his offer after he worked out with John Stockton.
My fandom doesn't go back that far, so I wouldn't know the details of this situation. Does anybody know if this is true or not?

Re: Steve Kerr
Never heard that his offer was pulled, but I think it was well known Gonzaga was his only offer other than Lute's.RawleArenas wrote: ↑Tue Mar 08, 2022 12:38 pm This is a bit off topic, but I just saw something on one of the Zags boards. Re: Steve Kerr
I thought he going to go to Long Beach?
Re: Steve Kerr
I think that would have been a baseball scholarship - he was an ace pitcher!

Arizona offered Kelly Olynyk but then we worked him out with Eugene Edgerson and said no thank you.

Re: Steve Kerr
This is what Popovich in 2015 when he told Kerr, "Congratulations on the championship. It's that easy, isn't it?"
It is at first.
It is at first.

Re: Steve Kerr
Shameless plug but Kerr's recent biography is a great read and has plenty of detail about getting a beat down from John Stockton (in apparent violation of NCAA rules) plus receiving a very conditional offer to come to UA from Lute.
