I just want to say that my hat is off to all of you who played this season. I don’t know when we’ve had a tighter, more hard-fought race for RAP Champion. Thanks for sticking through a long season. I hope you all had fun.

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Thanks for yet another year Chi. It's always a blast.

2019 BDW Survivor Pool Champion
6 points separated the top 4 posters coming into the tourney, so it was really anyone’s to win. I just ended up doing well in the TCU and Houston games. If we had won and moved on to the Elite 8, it could have been someone else taking home the crown.
Always bittersweet to tabulate the last game because for the past 25 years it’s been a loss. Still can’t wait to run RAP next year.

Will your winnings be reinvested back into the BDW site?
BTW, I swore off RAP because I truly believed I was jinxing the players. Maybe I need to be more like our Awe Shucks coach.

There were a couple of posters who felt the same this year and torpedoed their chances of winning by refusing to pick players they didn’t want to jinx.
My winnings were a one-year membership to BDW Premium. Now just trying to figure out how to apply it.

Yeah, but we lost with dignity X 2! We got to lose RAP and the Round of 16!

I will have to live with the fact that not only did we lose in the Round of 16 but I wasn't able to have dinner with Chi & '97 in the war zone known as Chicago AND I lost money re-selling my Midwest regional tickets that I purchased in advance.
Hey, who's to say we wouldn't have lost the TCU game if Dovey and I had picked Mathurin. Then we would really have been sad.
Plus my chances of winning were pretty low because of other torpedoes I'd encountered earlier in the year.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.
