Happy 9 months to my kiddo. Definitely the fastest 9 months of my life. Can't believe she's growing up so fast. She's wearing size 18 month clothes already.

My future juvenile delinquent just got suspended………

ON THE LAST FUCKING DAY OF SCHOOL

I might beat him. Haven’t decided yet. But boy would that give me some satisfaction.

I swear we have the same kid - that's something my son would have pulled off. I feel for you Chi.

On the flip side is my daughter. I don't think they are related.

It's starting to become a pain buying clothes for my kid. She's almost 10 months but is solidly in 24 month/2T clothes which sometimes don't account for big ol' chunky butts and cloth diapers

My daughter graduated HS today. Will be attending Michigan in the fall.

I could list the multitude of accomplishments but that would be bragging.

More importantly she’s a good kid and works hard. Couldn’t be more proud.

My son got married today at Stillwell House and reception at Thunder Canyon (catered by NYPD). There was a rumor Sen. Mark Kelly and possibly Gabby were going to show up, but it didn't happen. Daughter got married in Feb. to her Brit beau, both graduated college in 2020, so I guess we are done. On to grandkids!

(Mark actually mentioned the wedding last night at the Rialto at the debut of Gabby's documentary about gun violence)

Well done Ari, what a wonderful thing, and also the end of nice things for yet another future UofA grad.

Spent about 17 hours the last 2 days at UMC with my kid. We all have Covid. That's what I get for going to see us destroy Indiana in Vegas. So pissed that after almost 3 years I finally get the damn thing. She developed croup from the Covid and needed racemic epinephrine breathing treatments and steroids twice but this amazing kid did her best despite hating all medical professionals lol. She's a trooper and such a big, strong, and insanely smart girl (did I mention she knows over 100 words already at 16 months?). She was rewarded with some french fries after her treatment tonight. What a hard life. She is a clone of her mother and is just the best kid ever.

I'm so proud of this kid. She's 18 months old now and definitely my best friend and favorite person. She's 3 feet tall and weighs as much as a 3.5 year old. She has hundreds of words already and somehow taught herself to count to 10 and knows all her shapes and colors. She loves books and the park snuggling with mom and dad. I can't possibly be more enamored and proud.

Did it with just one, and quite honestly it was so much easier.

She's almost 20 months and she literally tells me that pee goes in the potty. But then she's just like nah dawg I ain't sitting on that thing. She's strong, smart, and stubborn. Exhausting, but I would have it any other way.

My daughter, who just completed her Freshman year at Michigan, made the UM 2023-2024 Dance Team. Will be performing at Football and Basketball games as well as Nationals down in Florida. Additionally, she pulled a 3.8 GPA as a double major (Dance & Psych) her Freshman year and was part of an international Hip Hop Dance company 2XS performing locally in Ann Arbor.

Suffice it to say she takes after her Mother.

Couldn't be more proud of her.

I spent the last 9 days off work celebrating my wife and my kid's 2nd birthday. Quite possibly the best week of my life. She's so damn smart and fun and kind and hilarious. I'm soaking up every second with this wonderful kid. She's something else. I love seeing her grow up but I wish she'd stay like this forever too.

So I took the same flight as my daughter to Detroit this morning as she’s off to Michigan for her sophomore year, and I’m starting a new project in Cleveland so had to take a connecting flight.

Then I fly back to CT at the end of the week only to have to turn around and drive back to Ann Arbor (which I’m less than an hour away right now) to move her stuff into her new apartment she’s moving into with 3 roommates. I’m going to be spent by the time I return home.

The things we do for our kids…

And all we ask in return is that they go above and beyond for their kids. It’s a beautiful thing.

Happy to say (posted elsewhere off the wall) but we're expecting our 2nd kid here in July. Two and done after that! Maybe shooting for a March 2025 tourney vasectomy as well...

My first kid is going to be the best big sister. She's not even 2.5 years old yet and is the smartest, kindest, sweetest kid. She's my best friend and melts my damn cold, jaded heart at every turn and makes me laugh my ass off. I'm a lucky dude.
