This game is going much the way I thought it would and it actually fills me with confidence.

We are definitely not close yet to being able to play with the best teams in this conference, but next year we will be better, and in Fisch Year Four we will be fighting for the top.

If Fisch keeps recruiting at a decent pace I definitely agree we will be better.

Better than SC/Oregon???? We would have to out-recruit them to do that and I don't see that happening.

Good point, I forgot about that.

Still, being at the top would mean that we would have to consistently out-recruit the two NW schools (UO/Udub) and AZ has never done that since we joined the PAC back in the 70's.

Not only do these refs not belong on a Pop Warner field, neither does our D.

In say rush 7 every play. Feast or famine. We're not doing anything rushing 4. Why not try something different?

Pretty much the whole RichRod tenure at Arizona would have been a lot different if he would have cared about defense. Most seasons ended up ranked in the 100's.

After last year, fixing the offense was the biggest priority and Fisch made great strides with that -- HUGE improvement. Next off season he needs to concentrate on fixing the defense. All in all, as of now, the team has met my expectations going into the season -- 3 wins. More than that, they will really exceed expectations.
