Need energy and we don't want to be totally be reliant on the bigs. Need to start opening the perimeter a bit and that is more than just shooting 3's. I am at a loss on Pelle. He is a great defender but is missing on offense.

That has to be about the worst 2 game streak ever.

Ballo was a 70% FT shooter last season. 55% this. Not sure if the extra minutes are getting him too tired or what.

Team looked like they had almost no energy. I don’t know what happened to the team that was streaking up and down the court in Maui. They seemed to be running in mud for much of the game.

We don't have our motor guys from last season's team. Terry and Benn were tireless and pushed for transition buckets throughout the game. Don't think this team has that next level run-and-gun ability. I'm noticing our offensive production has dropped significantly from the first few games.

Maybe that’s part of it. Early on, Ballo, Tubelis we’re sprinting down the court and Kerr was able to find them for easy buckets. I noticed on multiple occasions that Ballo was much slower to go end to end. A friend of mine asked if the team had an illness sweeping through the locker room and they were still recovering as a reason for the lethargic play.

I don’t know the ins and outs of the game like some posters on this board do, but I wonder if anyone has picked up on anything that Utah or Cal were doing defensively that kept us from being more effective. Are teams making adjustments that we haven’t countered yet?
