Well we can learn from the ending. Win or lose this game Arizona's defense is getting better. Tough game on both sides. Need to stop the offensive rebounds and this game would not have been close.

Now, I'm not advocating violence, but these officials should be taken out behind the woodshed and beat about the head and shoulders with a 2x4.

Zu sure has a knot on his forehead though from Larsson. Although both were fouled.

Also props to Zu 4-6 and Ballo 9-11 for free throw shooting. Usually they clank iron.

I’m glad we were able to win an ugly brawl although it got out of control at the end and somebody really could have been hurt.

We can win scoring in the 80’s or the 50’s.

But some of those turnovers were head-scratchers. Kriisa has to be much smarter. My lord.

So this was a game where UCLA took 18 more shots than we did. That is normally a disaster. We clean up the boards and we will win in Pauley. UCLA's problem is their offense is one on one by two players with occasional pass out to a three shooter. We played incredible defense in this game.

Well, I think that's a bit excessive. A 2x2 would provide better bat speed and exit velocity.

Replace the dimension lumber with a tow chain and a pickup. Drag them through the streets of midtown T-town letting the population skullfuck them into a state of redemption.

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Can y'all imagine the calories burned and pounds in sweat I dropped watching this fucking game on the elliptical? Prolly 1200 calories and 5 lbs. The rest of the old farts in Karin Robson's sweatshop thought I was referee-ing a QAnon rally.

Big recruiting day for the Cats

https://www.ncwlife.com/sports/national ... 0cdb3.html

UA’s big recruiting day

Among the many football and basketball recruiting targets scheduled to be on hand Saturday are UA basketball commit Jamari Phillips and football target Manasse Itete, a four-star offensive tackle in the class of 2024. They will visit together, according to Phillips’ father, James.

Jamari Phillips, a four-star guard in the class of 2024, was a classmate of Itete’s at Modesto (Calif.) Christian until he transferred to AZ Compass Prep earlier this month.

On Friday, Phillips shouted out UA fans via Twitter:

“I’m going to be on campus @uarizona tomorrow, come say wassgood!! #beardown”

On Friday, Arizona also brought in two highly regarded international recruits from NBA Academy Africa: Central African Republic guard Thierry Darlan and Cameroonian big man Ulrich Chomche.

Without the ridiculous number of offensive rebounds by UCLA, Cats win this one going away.

Kudos to Coach Lloyd and the Cats. Really didn't think they matched up well with UCLA but I was proven wrong. I like the defensive effort today and the fact the Cats are able to win in lower scoring games. Thanks to the great crowd as well even though I'm not a fan of white outs. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

Just saw the replay of the last couple shots we took with tubelis and Pelle getting mauled.

No fouls there?????
What the hell???
I might believe there was no goaltending but goodness gracious, that was a lot of contact for not being any "contact" there.

And the 5 seconds?? Was he too busy counting his fingers to see that Boz got fouled like 3 times there?

Good thing we won.

Maybe the officials have money on UCLA going undefeated in league play this year. They tried their hardest to give it to em. That probably would have been a handy sum.

You just touched on something. No one has gone undefeated in the PAC-12 and I want Arizona to be the first if that happens. Don't know why but it is one of the things that no one else has accomplished so I want it for the CATS.

Shot Quality Score is fine and all, but it the only works if you include a Foul Quality Score with it.

The way I see it, the score should have been 79-57 Cats.

UCLA was lucky to have a small comeback at the end. Fortunately we held them off.
