Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
RHJ is not playing very good, making way too many mistakes.
Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
You couldn't wait until PJC made the shot Sean?
But yeah, things are super sloppy right now.

Sloppy
Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
The defense gets better and then the offense goes out of sync.

It seems to me that York is brick city most of the time.
Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
Here's a thought Gabe, stop shooting threes.

Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
just sit York's ass down and put Pitts in for fucks sake
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:
Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
Start Pitts, seriously.
Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
Pitts 3!
Perfect end to the half.

Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
I know Miller sees the players a lot more than I do, but when I watch the games, I don't see Pitts playing worse D than York, and he shoots better, passes better, and moves without the ball better (York often camps in one spot).UAGreg wrote:Start Pitts, seriously.

Bench outscoring starters:
Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
I'm not trying to knock on York, but Pitts has thoroughly outplayed him so far this season. His defense has been really solid imo, plus he's almost automatic from 3.PieceOfMeat wrote:I know Miller sees the players a lot more than I do, but when I watch the games, I don't see Pitts playing worse D than York, and he shoots better, passes better, and moves without the ball better (York often camps in one spot).UAGreg wrote:Start Pitts, seriously.

As evidenced by the end of Gonzaga game, I think Miller thinks that too.
Watching that game before this one again shows what a rotten job the refs did, end of game especially. Ball don't lie.
Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
Miller finally using his cranium and giving the secondary guys legit PT. And we've still thoroughly controlled the game.
More Ristic, Pitts, and PJC!

I don't think it's a knock on York to state that Pitts has just upped his game and is playing great so far this year.UAGreg wrote: I'm not trying to knock on York, but Pitts has thoroughly outplayed him so far this season. His defense has been really solid imo, plus he's almost automatic from 3.
Yeah, I forgot he was in at the end of that game, and was the one to have that b.s. foul called on the 3 pointer.Merkin wrote: As evidenced by the end of Gonzaga game, I think Miller thinks that too.

Against a team like this one, there's definitely no reason to not give Ristic some serious playing time. I do think his D isn't close to Tarc's yet, but man his offense is goooood.eoe wrote: More Ristic, Pitts, and PJC!

Re: Game 9, vs Utah Valley
Ristic's D is quite putrid, but he is so much more skilled offensively than Zeus. Not as strong (no surprise), but his feet on offense are light-years ahead. All in due time.
