$20 mil guaranteed only for next season. Years 2 and 3 are essentially option years for us. Considering we have no viable QB to insert in the next 2 years, this is a good deal. Fitz is gonna have to restructure though.

Well that contract might be awful if his shoulder doesn't heal right this time.

WOW! What a 4th quarter for the Cards. Stanton connects with Brown for another spectacular catch and then the pick 6!

Cards will be alright. Stanton and the team need to secure home-field advantage. 4-3 down the stretch with a win over Sea should do it. I'll take this team with Stanton at the helm in 2 home playoff games for the Super Bowl appearance. But now if Stanton goes down, forget about it...sucks.

Depends how much bad luck the Cardinals are hiding in their trousers. The degree to which they've weathered the bad luck on quarterback injuries this season doesn't mean they haven't already carried more than their fare share. If Stanton goes out with his second injury of the year while trying to stand in for an injured Palmer again, then that would be absurd. They should get some kind refund from the football gods.

Can't wait to read it.

Never been more proud to say I'm a Cardinals fan. The team mentality, the way they rally to a cause, the dedication to greatness in light of hardship.

I remember seeing games back at Sun Devil Shithole when the team first got to town, being outnumbered by opposing fans, typically leaving after a loss.

Now this.

This team is full of winners.

If Todd Bowles doesn't at least get an interview for a head coaching job it will be criminal.

Well, that sucked.

Not freaking out over it, Seattle was desperate and it's a tough place to play.

However, the continued inability to run the ball...the continued dropped passes....concerning trends.

Definitely. But need to keep in mind we've played Detroit's D and Seattle's D in Seattle the last two weeks, one game without Fitz. I'm expecting the offense to move the ball against Atlanta even without Fitz. If we can't do something versus the Falcons then I'll be concerned.

Seattle and San Fran on Thursday should be a battle. At least one of them will take an L thankfully.

That was Fitz's pattern in the end zone that Brown dropped and I'm confident he would have caught it. That might have made a big difference in the O's play the rest of the game.

Not even worried about the result. Special teams gifted Seattle 9 points with ridiculously bad field position and the drop plus the missed FG was a 7 point swing.

Win 3 of the final 5 and homefield advantage should be ours. Can't ask for a much better spot to be in.

We were fine with the "Next Man Up" until it was our quarterback, who had us at our high level.
That's our biggest issue right now, our signal caller, which in turn is making our running game weaker.

I'm ready to suit up. 43 and slow as shit but I'm ready.

Have to love this team though, especially Bowles and Arians. Arians was defiant in his post-game presser.....he says & does all the right things to get his team motivated. So glad we have this staff & hope we can keep Bowles one more year.

Best way to keep Bowles is to play deep into the playoffs so he can't interview for the openings and hope the teams are stupid enough not to wait.

Bears have a QB I'd be willing to give to the cards for a bag of peanuts and a soda.
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

no no, you misunderstood, I wasn't saying I'd trade him. I'm saying I'll give him to the cards, and pay them to take him by giving them a bag of peanuts and a soda.....yeah....that's the ticket! Let's make this happen!

The major QB dropoff was from from Palmer to Stanton. Stanton to Lindley is a minor dropoff. This wasn't the case until recently, but now that Cooper is playing well on the line and we've got the run game going with Kerwyn and Stepfan I'm actually still somewhat confident. Once Palmer went down we were always going to have to win games 14-10, 12-9...that doesn't really change with Lindley. Hopefully Lindley gets some valuable reps in with the wrs over the next week and gains just a lil confidence at least. Bottom line, we need the defense to play fucking lights out the next month. And Catman needs to make every FG because points will be precious. Somehow securing the 1 seed would be amazing.

Regardless, I love this team, and Arians is awesome. Hands down coach of the year. I can't imagine many teams if any doing what the cards have done with so many guys missing. Unreal what Arians and this staff and team have accomplished so far.
