I saw that an assistant AD was coming from SJSU. Not really sure what that’s all about.

I would assume Brennan is waiting for the interviewing process at SJSU to play out since some of the guys he would wanna bring over are candidates

When Brennan was introduced he told the story of him calling his good friend that coaches in the NFL. I wonder if that coach is being courted because that team may still be in playoff mix. He probably can't make it public right now. Just spitballing

Huge mistake waiting for another school's hiring process to play out befor going ahead with your own hiring process. If he is doing that, it is just plain stupid, IMO. He needs to GET HIS STAFF SET. The longer he fiddle-farts around, the worse our transfer situation will be.

Don't the assistant jobs have to be advertised or have they changed the rules? Doesn't seem that long ago even the head coaching positions had to be advertised before the new hire could be announced. Don't see any AD openings. Remember Shay Binion(sp?)?

Akina was obviously already an employee.

I found an article about SJSU new coach search. It will give you some idea of a couple of their assistant coaches that may come here if they don't get the head coaching job.

What do you think the impact is going to be? I know several of the assistant coaches were interviewing for that job and I thought that was one of the things holding up us announcing our new assistants. I think a couple of Brennan's assistants from SJDU will be arriving soon.

If he brings the TE coach, maybe he can bring this player with him.

#1 rated JC TE according to ESPN, 5th by 247.

Not that Brennan will run the same offense Fisch did, but Tanner McLachlan became a pretty good player.

That's correct which makes the position coach hires strange.

I guess it was a Kevin McGiven that he would actually remain on Ken N's staff at San Jose State. Very curious who we decide to hire?
