We are playing like crap. The Cats need to throw a new wrinkle into their offense. The flow in the offense is terrible and out of sync. USC has figured out our offense.

IF Abercrombie takes it to the hoop with two hands, he most likely draws the foul

USC came to play and their defense is stifling right now. They know how to clog up the lane. If the Cats can't shoot from mid-range or long range to open up the floor, they will lose this game.

Low scoring grind it out game. Who is tougher. Boogie could be a big problem with a score this low. Two 3's and that is huge in a game like this.

This is a tough match up for Bozwell. USC has 2 nba level physical guards. He needs to focus on all the other aspects of the game

Most D1 players aren’t comfortable shooting 10 - 12 footers. They practice over dribbling and 3 pointers and step backs, but they don’t see the mid range shots as being integral to winning

Miller would be proud of this D. Need to keep it up all game to get the win.

Maybe, but USC has gotten it worse than us. (We've had 11 FT's, USC 1)

And, only losers complain about refs...

Play some killer D and you don't have to worry about your shots falling.

SC missing 10 straight shots

Takes a lot of energy to play that defense. Got to make some of those underneath shots. Refs will even it out this half so play without fouling is key. This is a defensive game and it will take focus and strength to finish.

Was concerned about the offense, but the defense is what we need. This team isn't going to score 90 points a game in the tournament. Like seeing the ability to get it done in different ways.

USC will fit right in with the Big 10 with this kind of ugly ball.

HA!

Sweat Boy would have had Ballo hedging 10 feet outside of the 3 line, negating any chance of those beautiful blocks that he had

To be honest, BOTH teams played "Ugly ball" that half, and the pace was determined by USC...

... that was CSM's game, and that's also one of the main reasons I prefer CTL's offensive style.

While I think we didn't handle USC well at all last week, I do recognize that so far, this has been a good performance against one of the most difficult styles we are likely to face (before Houston or UConn, anyway)

USC has missed some bunnies too. Momentum will be huge this half and I'm glad our crowd is there.
