It wasn't a strong quake. 4.8 on the Richter scale. I am curious how much damage there is. When I lived in Indiana I remember a quake that was 5.0, and the dishes rattled a little bit. I thought there was a jet flying over the house.

I haven't even felt an earthquake in 15 or 20 years.

But just 3 nights ago was video chatting with our daughter in Japan and she had one while we were chatting. Pretty scary for them, but they get them all the time.

Fracking in the Permian Oil Basin has enlivened my life with these frequent small quakes...

... But, then, I slept through a 6.2 Quake in Alaska in 1973, so I guess I'm not easily impressed.

The horde of illegals in Cali holds the ground down. They call 'em anchor babies for a reason Merk.

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Safety in numbers!

If it wasn't for them the US would start tilting towards the South and we westerners would all pile up at the mountain ranges.

A nice morning jolt from a 5.4 in Malibu.

BTW, the myshake app is crazy. I'm getting alerts nearly a full minute before I feel shaking.
