Orthopedic doctor recommendations
I was wondering if anyone here in Tucson has any recommendations for orthopedic doctors? Specifically, something related to lower extremities and/or sports medicine. Strangely enough, I feel like there should be better info here than by using Google.

Tucson Orthopedic. I know a couple of docs there and that's where I'd go.

We were happy with the doctor we saw there when my son saw broke his hand in football.wyo-cat wrote:Tucson Orthopedic. I know a couple of docs there and that's where I'd go.
Just a note of warning-if you are going because of a car accident, they most likely won't see you.
Only one doctor at Tucson Orthopedic was willing to see my son after his car accident, and he was on vacation.
First went to Southern Arizona Orthopedics next to St. Joes, but they wouldn't take our health insurance and made us pay out of pocket.
Ended up going to Dr. John Meaney across the street from TO - he used to be in practice with John Fina's dad who has since retired.

University Orthopedic Specialists (google them)

Tucson Orthopedic Institute would be my recommendation. Dr. Michael Parseghian did my right knee about 7 years ago when I had it cleaned out and several follow up visits for the occasional cortisone injection since.

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
