They did though get a bid to the NIVC and they were placed in the Arizona regional and they will be in McKale on Friday night!!!
They will play Weber St first and if the win they will get the cats on Saturday at McKale.
Have to tell you all I will be transferring my flag to Pacific on Saturday

Family just got back from McKale and what a day. It was really weird rooting against the cats in McKale.
My granddaughter had a great year. She came in expecting to redshirt but played her way into the rotation at the OH2 position. She had her ups and downs like any freshman would have. She had a stretch where she had 13,14, 15 and 14 kills in a match. Her team was on a winning streak when they went against Oregon State and they lost the first two games and she hit a -200 with 2 kills and 4 hitting errors. The coach decided to shake things up and play the Sr she beat out and that Sr played very well and the team rallied to win 3 straight and beat the Beavers.
She saw minimal time in this tournament but she should be OH1 next year given the graduates the team has at that position. She of course will have to battle incoming freshman and some portal additions but she is very competitive.
Tonight’s game was amazing to watch. Never thought I would have a child on the floor at McKale playing against the cats. The cats started slow, looking a little tight and Pacific played well. The cats rallied from a 16-11 deficit to win game one 26-24. From there they simple wore down Pacific using their superior athletic ability.
Great season for my granddaughter and her team as they finish 19-13. Cats move on to play Wyoming and I think they win this tournament. The future looks bright for the program as they have some dynamic players so watch out for them next year in the big dance

Cats beat Northern Colorado in four to make it to next week's championship. They have won 10 in a row. They will announce where the finals will be held after the other semi-finals match is over, which is on Saturday.

They deserve to win the whole damn thing after getting screwed out of the real tournament.

Fun match to watch. Cats volleyball is a good time. Those in Tucson should show up and watch them play next year

Let's hope this is a catapult to the NCAA tourney like the ladies hoops team did after winning the NIT and then making the championship game the next year.
