That was a season killer.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Huge win today in what might be the game of the year. Stafford was amazing as was Allen.
Still in the playoff hunt.

I like the Rams remaining schedule a lot better than the Seachickens. All of a sudden I’m an NFC North fan.

Great tough win against the hated ‘9er’s in shitty weather. Love the team’s toughness and with all the hoopla around Stafford, Nacua and Kupp it’s the friggin o-line and running the ball with Williams that makes this offense go.

Primetime mud game is a game they lose in ‘22, ‘23, and earlier this year. But the last two wins remind me a lot of ‘21 when they won any way, any how.EastCoastCat wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 4:28 am Great tough win against the hated ‘9er’s in shitty weather. And a shout out to our run defense and DB’s. Defense is playing better and better each week.

Re: 2024 Los Angeles Rams
Just got back from MetLife. Definitely the coldest game I’ve ever attended.
Ugly, gritty win. Our ground game was stellar and both the offense and defense made just enough plays to come away with a win. And with the Seahawks loss the Rams are now alone in first place in the NFC West.
I’m now going to check if I still have all of my toes…

Re: 2024 Los Angeles Rams
Amazing that the Jets went 99 yards on their opening drive and then only got 3 points total after that. Defense totally stepped up.

I can breathe a little easier but holy shit does this offense need Havenstein on the o-line. Noteboom is horrible.

From 1-4 to NFC West Champs.
Huge shout out to everyone in the organization for sticking together but special kudos to McVay. He’s the best coach in the NFL (and still the youngest!).

Re: 2024 Los Angeles Rams
Agree Chi. Huge accomplishment considering how bad the season started.
This young defense has become very opportunistic which has saved their butts the last couple of games. Love the aggressiveness.
Offense is a bit more worrisome. Glad we can sit Havenstein next week because we will need him to have any chance in the playoffs. Sit Williams next week too and play Corum.
The NFC is brutal this year so anyone who has a nick or needs a rest just do it against the Seahawks.

Word is that the Eagles will sit Saquon so Eric Dickerson’s single season record will remain intact for at least another season.

Just down the road from me.
Los Angeles wildfires: NFL moves wild-card playoff game between Vikings and Rams to Arizona
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/los- ... to-arizona
In response to the wildfires that are ongoing around the Los Angeles area, Monday's playoff matchup against the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams is being moved to Arizona, the league announced in a statement on Thursday evening. Specifically, the game will be held in Glendale at State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals.
"In the interest of public safety, Monday's Vikings-Rams Wild Card game has been moved from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA to State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals," the league's statement reads. "The decision was made in consultation with public officials, the participating clubs, and the NFLPA."
The announcement adds that the game will be played at its previously schedule time of 8 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN and ABC. Meanwhile, tickets are slated to go on sale at 10 a.m. local time (1 p.m. ET) on Friday morning through SeatGeek.com for Rams season ticket holders and will be released to the general public at noon local time (3 p.m. ET).

Re: 2024 Los Angeles Rams
Couldn’t be avoided once a fire broke out just a mile or so from Inglewood, but boy does it suck. Hopefully none of the Rams players, coaches, or personnel are leaving their families behind only to worry about their safety.

That was a pretty good first half. 24-3 Rams
Interested to see if Minnesota can come out and score right after the half and make this a game.

Re: 2024 Los Angeles Rams
Now the Rams go home to LA where they aren’t sure if they can practice, and then have to go to Philly on a short week to play in the cold possibly without Higbee and Witherspoon.
Going to take another monster defensive effort to beat the Birds. And for fucks sake, can someone other than Puka and Higbee get some separation? The announcers were talking about how Kupp didn’t get the ball but he literally was not more than a half yard from his defender the whole night except on that one wheel route where Stafford hit him.

Re: 2024 Los Angeles Rams
What happened to Higbee? He went the hospital because of chest problems. I think getting him back will be essential but Robinson needs to step up. Good call out Chi.
But let’s face it, in Philly with the crowd and weather we must be able to run the ball and Saquon has to be somewhat controlled.

I didn’t see where Higbee got hurt but if he went to the hospital I’m wondering if it was broken ribs or a collapsed lung.

Having nightmare flashbacks of the Rams getting beat constantly in the snow against the Vikings.
Hope McVay, Stafford and our young aggressive defense can “weather” through the shitty conditions.

If only for the BDW Rams contingent, I'm rooting for LA. But it looks like fate keeps fucking with them.

Re: 2024 Los Angeles Rams
It is really coming down in Philly. I am expected to get snow here in New Hampshire, but later. With the Eagles having a 4 point lead in the 4th quarter, it is going to be really hard to score now. Crazy!

You can’t fumble twice in the 4th quarter and expect to win. But, it was a good run. Sure wish we could have played in somewhat normal conditions.
