Thought Caleb played one of his best games in an Arizona uniform. Team is still to dependent on one guy having a great night. Thought we should give him some love when it is do.

Agree. Might have been the best game he has played for Arizona. And with the way TCU kept coming back we needed just about all of it. Hoping these last 3 games from Love are a sign that he has turned the corner (his father told me at halftime that he told Caleb after the Bahamas that he needed to go back to being aggressive [or something like that]).

Love's defense is great compared to last year. He would have been blamed rightfully so for losing that game but has the balls to keep shooting on a bad night. It wasn't the shot that sent it to OT but the 2 3's in OT that took guts. Could have just past it out and let someone else take the shot.

It was so frustrating watching him miss a million times, but all anyone could talk about after the game was how he's the best player ever.

I thought the Fran Frischilla baseball analogy was a good one. a .240 hitter who gets 35 homers a year but strikes out 200 times.

Caleb strikes out his first 3 times v. ISU, then in the bottom of the 9th inning hits a home run to tie it. Then tops it off with another couple dingers in extra innings.

Props to Caleb as well. He’s a guy that goes through a lot. There’s a lot of pressure on his back. He goes to a lot of things mentally, too, that people might not see behind closed doors. So just seeing how he rose to the occasion, seeing how he’s been dealing with ups and downs this season, he’s one of the hardest workers I know.
