Thank you for highlighting exactly why I’m not missing the PAC one tiny bit.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Plus we'd be debating how good this team is mowing down crappy Pac teams instead of being impressed by the road wins in the Big 12. Doubt we'd be in consideration for the 3 seed as well.

ISU is too short handed to compete with Houston today.

Cryer is just pounding Iowa St. Whoever we had guarding him deserves some props.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Watching Houston at home got me thinking about these Big XII arenas and the capacities and some history and I found this ranking of the arenas. I think Okie St is way to high and certainly not above McKale

Houston's Arena, Fertitta Center, is the smallest or 2nd smallest venue of the major conference teams. 7100. Less than half of McKale.

ISU played tough. Impressed, being down their two leading scorers.

Aren't basketball venues called arenas and not stadiums? Football fields are called stadiums.

Otz was hired at the same time Tommy was.

They’re both out of the park hires IMHO.
