So...my wife is away visiting friends in a farm near Portland, OR and her friend's pygmy goats have just had babies.
I think we're getting a baby goat...

I had my teeth cleaned yesterday. No cavities!
Why is that important you ask? My hygienist lives on some acreage and she said she has a couple goats to keep all the weeds down.
When I worked at Cal Poly, they used goats to do the same thing on hilly areas. Or maybe they were sheep. Some 4 legged animals. Put fencing up, and unload the truck. Leave for the day, and pick them up.
So yes, they are useful. Probably not the most friendly animals though. And they just eat everything.
