I suppose this can be about anything betting related but for now was just wondering which sites you guys use....
I've been using sportsbook.ag for a few years and I like them...but I've got a new get rich quick strategy but I need a site with a lot more prop bets so I figured I'd see what other sites you guys use and have experience with....

can't help, as I don't bet.
however, if you get rich quick, I might have to inquire as to how you did it and take up the habit

K...well sorta joking but on the reals...Very low risk very high reward. Of course it's possible I just got lucky 2 days in a row so I'll save my real bragging (and let you guys in on a BIG secret if it holds. (fun fact, it's not a secret, I'm just super impressed with myself)

Normally yes, but they cheat on their NFL Teaser lines. 6 point teasers are really 4-4½ point teasers, and all the other "tease" lines are 1-2 points short of what they should be.UAdevil wrote:5dimes.eu

I kept checking back and no one had bit so I just assumed no one cared. As for striking it rich...you see part of the reason why it's low risk high reward is because I risk very little...like the littlest there is to bet because I'm not completely clueless...just a little. Plus I'm kinda seeing a guy who's a fairly well known betting expert and he sucks at offering me any big tips so I figure if I make enough of the type of bets I'm making but tell him I'm risking big numbers, he'll eventually feel sorry for me and gimmie some juicy tips.
As for my method...has it held? Well...yes...wanna know what it is?

OK...here you go...and NFL is a little different because they have way more options for prop bets so I'll get to that second but first:PieceOfMeat wrote:Well sure, I think we want to know what it is.mytwocents wrote:LOLPieceOfMeat wrote:As MTC hasn't checked back into the thread....are we to assume that she either struck it rich or got wiped out?

You find the games (be it NBA of NCAAF or whatever), that has a HUGE dog (given sometimes you just have to take the biggest of what there is because I believe in betting no matter if there's slim pickings...this is also the sign of a true degenerate gambler but I've already come to terms with that and have moved on) and you put a little amount of money on those games. Take today for instance. For sake of ease let's say I put $1 on each bet I made so:
NBA-
76ers +900/Pistons
Timberwolves +700/Nuggets
NCAA-
North Texas +850/ODU
Rice +700/Charlotte
VA Commonwealth +750/Duquesne
BC +700/UV
So I made 6 bets = $6...
I only won 2 of those bets (T'wolves & Rice) but that got me $14 so I came out in this example, up $8.
Now obviously not all days are going to be like this but like on the 15th I made 3 bets = $3..
I only won 1 but it was CSUN +650 so I got back $7.50, and again came out in this example up $3.50
On the 16th I made 6 bets....$6 but one of them was a 2-team parlay which I won so I got $20.95 back which was more than double my bet.
So you see...it's a SOLID METHOD because as we all know, TEAMS WILL ALWAYS FAIL THEIR FANS at some point and when that happens, I'm right there baby.
NFL especially right now is a different story as it's all about Prop bets which if you don't know are things like "Will Aaron Rodgers score 2 rushing TD's" and that pays 1-15000 so yeah for $1 you could win $150 and there's plenty more for all the players and stats and I'll usually not risk more than the lowest payout so for instance one bet is for Julian Edelman to get over 125 receiving yards and it doesn't pay great but there's a decent chance it happens so I find one of those 'at least it's got a good chance-ish to happen' bets and then find 9 more that if won all pay big numbers.
Again...solid method (ok, actually this one isn't as solid I've found during the playoffs but I promise you it makes the games way more fun especially if there's a blowout).
So...TLDR; Find very unlikely to win bets, make those bets and know that there's usually a decent team that shits the bed every so often so capitalize on it.
No, I won't strike it rich this way but I'm a smart enough bettor to know that even the absolute BEST bettors are lucky to have a winning % in the 50's... So for me it's just fun and plus I sound like I knew something when I brag about it on twitter later
Re: Betting Thread
Ive been loving the 4-5 point NBA/NCAA teasers. I find 2, sometimes 3 games that I think can go either way and Ill take the points for the underdog. Worked well last year and still working well.

Re: Betting Thread
I stay away from parlays anymore. I used to do 4-6 team parlays every day and I think I only hit on like 10 of them. Wound up paying for the other 60 I lost but I hated hitting 3/4 or 5/6 games. Worst feeling ever when you miss 1, especially when $20 could have turned into $600.mytwocents wrote:I do plenty of parlays but never done a teaser bet...mostly because I'm not 100% sure of how they work...
Teasers are similar to parlays but you start by choosing how many points you want against the spread. You then pick 2-15 games to combine a bet on. Lets say you do a 4 pt teaser and you select 3 games that all have a -4 spread. A 4 pt teaser would allow you to get on each game at -8 or ML, your choice. 3 games would pay +200, 4 games would pay +335, 5 pays +525 and so on. You can even choose an teaser that allows ties to reduce the bet rather losing the whole thing. I had a lot of fun with those during March Madness. Take a 6-8 pt teaser and give the points to the underdogs.
Re: Betting Thread
There is no teaser in which ties lose. All teasers are either ties win or ties reduce.

But then, once in a lifetime

I deposit a whopping $250 into my sportsbook prior to the ncaafb season every year. So far every year I've cashed out $400-$700 after the end of the ncaa tourney. Not big money, but I've always been up at the end of my betting year.

11x your bet in profit if they upset AZ outright...if you take a standard point spread it's usually -110, but can vary between even money and about -130.PieceOfMeat wrote:so, not being a gambler, I guess I have what might be a stupid question. That would mean if you bet the moneyline, then they need to win outright and then you'd get paid $11 for ever $1 you bet. According to the book I use they don't even have a ML for our game but the spread is Oregon +15 so they'd have to win OR not lose by more than 14 pts and you'd get paid $.91 for every $1 you bet.
