As far as people blaming bad performances on white outs, I just have to say I cannot disagree with you more. This does not make the Oregon State game any more or less important

Do UK, UNC and Duke? Don't really know. A quick search shows that Louisville has 2 this year.

UA is not ASU. We don't need gimmicks to fill up the stands. Tempe Normal was actually a pretty clever gimmick since ASU basketball is in such poor shape.

Isn't it just about having some fun instead of filling up the stands? What harm do these do? These "white outs" or "gimmicks" are not the reason why the Cats lost to Washington and UCLA in them and are not the reason why the Cats have not been to the final four since 2001.

Because I just want to go to the game and not have to worry about what shirt to wear. I have a closet full of red UA shirts. I don't own a single white shirt and don't want too.

I like the themed games. I always end up buying a shirt to expand my UA wardrobe. Nothing wrong with changing it up a bit, but it's also nice we don't have to worry about engaging fans and getting butts in seats.

i like 'em too, as long as the athletic dept steers clear of the likes of "polka dot-out!", "plaid-out!", "camo-out!", etc.
stripe-out is getting a little close.

that said, dwill's last second block vs. UW against an all-white backsplash (plus gumby and bananaman) will always hold a special place in my heart.
