I don't think it's ever 85 in the summer in July and August, but we definitely get more 95 than 100. As far as the weather here, it's pretty awesome November to May.

Full on ice rain here in DC. Everything is covered in a half inch of ice.

I'm cool with snow and rain but ice is shitty. I couldn't even walk down the sidewalk.

Yep, I lived in lafayette, IN for 12 years and it is an ice city. Snow you can learn to deal with but ice is bad. It's not only losing control of your car or sipping on the sidewalk, but the ice can actually freeze your lock or car door to where you can't get in. I remember walking the sidewalks at Purdue University and watched the tractors with brushes polish the packed snow on the sidewalks (better known as glorified ice slickers). I've seen many students fall on the ice walking between classes.

Had thunder and lightning this afternoon which is a very rare occurrence where I live due to the Pacific Ocean being so cold and influencing the weather so much. Maybe once every two or three years do we see lightning. Maybe even longer.

So rather cool.

Only a little rain though, not near enough to make even a dent in the massive CA drought.

I ran my mouth, and we may get March snow for the first time sine 1932 in the morning. It would be the first snow period since 2010. 10% chance. We'll see.

My mom just moved to Dallas 4 months ago and she's losing her shit. She spent her first 58 years in San Francisco, LA and Phoenix so she isn't quite used to this winter thing.

Snowing at my house right now. Not sticking though, unlike earlier in the week when we got 6 inches out of nowhere.

Checking back through my twitter pics, it snowed on April 15th last year. Hope to god that's not the case this year. I need some springtime weather ASAP.

gonna be record heat this weekend in Tucson....feels like I've been saying that for the last 2 winters/springs. Some parts of the Phoenix are could push 100 this weekend. Won't hit it but will be potentially close.

Average high is about 80 right now. ughhhhhh.

I didn't realize it until just now, but my grill got blown off my deck. We didn't even get that bad of thunderstorms, but the straight line winds as the front blew through last night were fantastic. We had sustained winds of 35-40 and gusts over 50 for a good half hour to an hour.

Weirdest start to May I can remember in 29 years in Arizona. I think it has rained (or at least sprinkled) every day so far. Normally it rains less than 1 day every May.

Right now there's a monsoon level downpour going on and some monsoon worthy lightning and thunder. I'm impressed. It's chilly too.
