The Ohio State quarterback reinjured his surgically repaired throwing shoulder on Monday, a serious blow to Ohio State's national championship hopes.

Miller is 28-8 as Ohio State's starter and has led the Buckeyes to 24 consecutive regular-season wins. The dual-threat QB has totaled 3,054 rushing yards and 32 TDs and was expected to be among the Heisman Trophy frontrunners this year. Miller missed two games in 2013 and was replaced by Kenny Guiton.
Ohio State would have to turn to either redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett or third-year sophomore Cardale Jones as a replacement. The two split reps in Miller's absence in spring practice.

J.T. Barrett is going to get first looks as the starter. Barrett won the back-up role last week.
The interesting thing is that this could have a larger impact with the Big 10 and this years playoff. Ohio State have the real possibility of losing a handful of games 2-4 now and that will bring down the perception of the Big-10 this year.

I don't think this will be much of a factor. The redshirt freshman is pretty good and their schedule is WAC like.

Osu will still be like 10-2. Big 10 is weak. Their schedule is full of Maryland and Rutgers and Penn state and Indiana and navy and Kent state
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
i'll just go with fuck asu.

Miller says he'll stay in school and won't seek a graduate transfer. Which is interesting with how well his replacement has played.
