The old 1 on 2 Fast Break. I believe they call that the "Mark Lyons".
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Trevin Wade with a couple nice stops for the Giants tonight. Forgot he was in the league and nice to see him doing well

Interestingly, Kaep's numbers are very similar to Cam Newton's this year, and his last two years have been a whole lot like his first two years when he was seen as one of the best in the league.azgreg wrote:Grabbert to get the start for the Niners this weekend.
Only difference in both cases is his record . . .

He definitly had a lot more tools at his disposal in '12/13 than he did '14/15.
I mean, I thought he sucked 3 years ago. But then again, I wasn't the guy putting him in Beats Audio commercials demanding he be considered a star.

Re: 2015 NFL Season
So apparently Bradford was offered a contract extension by Philly before the season started and turned it down.
The reported value of the contract was 4 years/$72M. So about $18M a year with $30M guaranteed.
I'm at a bit of a loss trying to understand how Bradford turned that down. When you've had all the injuries he's had and done as little in his career as he has, I'd probably be pretty quick to jump on that cash instead of trying to bet on myself in an effort to get that per year figure moved to $20M per.

I know they wanted to sign him during the preseason because he was playing so well, but I doubt that was the money number.

Erlich Bachmann: Richard wrote the code, yes, but the inspiration was clear. Let me ask you something. How fast do you think you could jack off every guy in this room? Cause I know how long it would take me. And I could prove it.

The MVP talk for Cam is abso-f*uckinglutely crazy.Chicat wrote:Interestingly, Kaep's numbers are very similar to Cam Newton's this year, and his last two years have been a whole lot like his first two years when he was seen as one of the best in the league.azgreg wrote:Grabbert to get the start for the Niners this weekend.

14 TD-9 picks, 220 yards passing a game, 53 percent completion percentage, 81 Rate, 50.67 QBR. What, 2 game winning drives? 42 rushing yards per. This isn't even his best season. Yes, they are 8-0. Don't know what happened to the Packers, but that is obviously a very impressive win. The Seahawks completely pissed away their game to them. Despite those two games, Carolina has played the 25th most difficult schedule in the league to date and it isn't going to get any tougher moving forward. 24th on, Patriots (8-0), Vikings (6-2), Cardinals (6-2), Atlanta (6-3). Patriots and MAYBE the Cardinals are the only one in that bunch who have realistically looked the part of their records and have a legitimate shot at a deep playoff run.
You have to take the Panthers for real with Dallas' injuries and Seattle being a mess, they are a very good team. But if you look at it, they are really just being the same team as years past that will make the playoffs but lose to the 2 or 3 best teams in the NFC come playoff time, and they have just stepped in to fill the void those two teams left. I don't think as highly of Arizona as a lot of people, but I think Arizona is better than the Panthers.
Cam's season PALES in comparison to Russell Wilson's last year. I mean it isnt even damn close. Wilson didnt deserve MVP last year because it rightfully went to Rodgers. This year it should be exactly the same thing, as Rodgers' numbers are just a shade below last year's. Hell, Wilson is having a nightmare season by his standards and deserves it more over Cam this year. Wilson's 0-line has been historically horrible, he would break the times sacked record (he will be fairly close to it) if he wasn't some freak athlete who escapes 8 plus every game, and his numbers are overall better than Cam's.

Re: 2015 NFL Season
Perhaps some of the chatter this week about Chip losing his team was correct.
I know having the back up QB in is tough and Detroit is probably playing better than their record since the changes, but it shouldn't be 38-7 with five minutes left in the third against 3-7 Detroit tough.

Re: 2015 NFL Season
Back to back 10 win seasons and a division championship in his first two years has probably earned Chip more than just one losing season before getting fired. My guess is the ownership gives him one more year to find his qb and make it work. Bradford was showing a lot of improvement before getting injured, but he just doesn't have any heart. One thing is for sure, if Chip doesn't fire that defensive coordinator (Billy Davis), it won't matter. The defense has clearly quit on Davis.

I'm glad the Cards have already played the Lions. What happened to the packers? I wouldn't be surprised if they miss the playoffs.

Re: 2015 NFL Season
So why is Cam Newton the runaway favorite to win MVP again?
Russell Wilson: 68.5 comp pct; 2997 yds, 21 TD, 7 int, 106.2 rating, 69 QBR, 450 rush yds (5.4 ypc). All while having the lowest rated pass blocking offensive line in the NFL. 6th toughest schedule in NFL.
Cam Newton 58.3 comp pct; 2797 yds, 25 TD, 10 INT, 93 rating, 62.7 QBR, 476 rush yards (4.4 YPC). Has 12th highest pass blocking O line in the league. Panthers 29th toughest schedule in the league.
By the way, Carson Palmer should be the clear favorite for MVP....

There's a conspiracy theory out there that Belichick kicked off in OT on purpose to give the Jets a chance to win and help knock the Steelers out of the playoffs. I wouldn't put it past him.
