She's a cancer survivor who happens to write for GoAZCats and knows more about Arizona football than most of the guys I know at this school.. I have a big problem with this post.
What are the odds of that, Jesus. I stand corrected.

But still, fuck the Seahawks.

Is that a random thing or did they pick somebody due to the back story? Sounds like they got wind of her story from the Athletic Department. Sheesh, Cancer...can't really joke about that...

And yes, Fuck the Seahawks
It wasn't random. Which is fine with me, it's entertainment and they feel like they need a good story.

She isn't the only entertaining story in this town...just sayin.
It's not really fine when it's supposed to be a contest with terms and conditions. And it probably violates the laws regarding giveaways. But that being said I don't care, she's a Cat and every bit as deserving as the next one.

College Game Day and a big game means a great day of tailgating!

ForTheWin ranks Arizona as the best place to be tailgating this weekend.

Image
1. UCLA (NO. 11 AMWAY COACHES POLL) AT ARIZONA (NO. 16)

When: Saturday, Sept. 26
Kickoff: 8 p.m. ET
TV: ABC

Arizona-UCLA looks to be one of the best match-ups of the young season. If you’re headed to Tucson for the clash between two unbeaten teams, here’s the first thing that you need to know: the tailgating areas outside of Arizona Stadium opens six hours before kickoff. Be sure to visit Arizona’s most dedicated tailgaters, the Red Army. The group sets up shop on the UA Mall.

Also: check out the Wildcat Walk. Two hours prior to each game, the Arizona team buses drop off the players at the corner of University Boulevard and Cherry Avenue. Fans line Cherry and greet the home team as it walks toward Arizona Stadium.

After that, go enjoy the game. It should be a good one.
Tailgaters can arrive on Saturday at 5 am, but tailgating doesn't officially start until 11. This could be an epic tailgate day with as big a crowd as we have ever seen.

I'm always amazed when I talk to someone in Tucson who hasn't been to a football tailgate. It is the best party and the best people watching in town.

I thought it was weird the female host questioned weather Salmon ever had a deathbed conversation with McKale then chimes in with "Bear Down, whatever that means"

Now she's talking about growing up in Phoenix and it all makes sense.

Desmond Howard is much easier to tolerate when there is an Arizona helmet in front of him and Old Main behind him. This is such great exposure for the school and the program.

Especially now ESPN isn't paying for someone to come except maybe transportation. Would think the Kardashians would want to be paid to come.

I have pieced hints and think it is Baffert

ESPN said it's someone who did something that hasn't been done in a really really long time and they've been in the news a lot the last 6 months. Must be Baffert.

Samantha Ponder went to Central High School in PHX, then went to college back east.

Pretty ignorant statement on her part for a college football reporter.

Reporting in @3:30AM. There are two lines about two people wide each, almost stretching around old main starting front the stage.

We aren't even going to try to get in the pit, just standing next to the stage.

The pit seems a lot smaller than 2009.

This sucks. I live in PA and I am going to see Penn State today (got free tickets). I went to set the dvr for the Arizona game since I won't be home until about 9 eastern and I realized it isn't on because there is coverage of the Pope visit in Philadelphia. Hopefully it will be on WatchESPN. Enjoy gameday and the game everyone. One day I'll make it to Tucson.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 eastern and the game probably won't end until midnight. I can't imaging a one lunged octogenarian has that kind of stamina.
