That's a pretty sobering stat in a game like this one. It's not like we're running an offensive scheme that snaps the ball every half second either.

The offense is really not having any issues tonight which is nice to see. They just need the defense to get them the ball.

Yates coached corners last year and the really did well, at least forcing turnovers. He is the LB coach now and the strength of our defense nows looks like the reason we can't get any stops

Highlight of this game is it sounds like Sean Miller is Southern Utah's punter. Do think the real Sean Miller could coach our defense better than Yates.

Agreed. If he is still parked when we play USC you can bet it's been lingering. He would do anything to beat USC, even return to the run I believe

He doesnt look near as fast as when healthy. And of course it's going to hurt more when he gets hit lol.

And they have to play Stanford, @Colorado(who is 3-0), @ USC and @ Washington in their next 5 games. They could be 2-0 and ranked with the win over MSU then suddenly be like 4-4.

We may only win 2-3 games this year but ASU probably won't be any better than 7 wins

Not pretty on defense but hey we got a win, a sack and a turnover all for the first time!

Giving up 32 to Southern Utah and 45 to Houston definitely prepares me for us giving up 50 points to pretty much every conference team we play.
