I don't know what it is about GCU, but they really seem to have our number.

Hope we're more prepared for ASU on Friday.

Been playing like dog doo lately. Nothing good, hitting or pitching. Left to many on base last night but giving up 11 runs will not win any games.

Meanwhile ASSU has moved into D1’s top 25 so hopefully we can burst their bubble and win the series and get a point for the T Cup

We're definitely in a funk without Summerhill. Without really looking into it, I was tempted to say GCU does really well in Tuesday games when we're saving our weekend pitchers. But, they've played a fairly tough schedule themselves. And the game was somewhat in doubt until they shelled Pluta in the 8th. I know it's kind of nice to sort of casually slot them into Tuesday games, and I gather they've been pretty accommodating with scheduling. But, just as they've improved in hoops, they've come along in baseball. So, I don't know if it's really desirable or not, but maybe the time has come to play them home-and-home in alternating years in three-game weekend series.
