He made a great point that we've earned this after all the times Bill took over these games.

Re: (M) Game #30 Arizona at UCLA (2023-2024)
If I was the UCLA AD I’d get out tonight’s game program, write up a 10/80 offer sheet for Tommy on the program and give it to him at the end of the game.
Can’t hurt, right?

Someone needs to make RJ highlights for this game. I would watch it a million times.

We should literally do that just to see Mick have an aneurysm.

So is that why UCLA is so bad? Mick only cares about next year?

Looooool RJ
Re: (M) Game #30 Arizona at UCLA (2023-2024)
That will actually improve when they are in the B1G next year. There are certainly more B1G alumni that will show up for games at Pauley than there are actual UCLA fans. I would not be shocked to see more Michigan State/Illinois/OSU fans in Pauley than UCLA fans over the coming years.Alieberman wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 9:19 pm Look at all those empty seats in the 1st 5 rows… pathetic… just like UCLA and Cronin

Bet the UCLA fans listening love RJ. LOL.

All of these Pac12 refs DESPERATELY want to become B1G refs. The alternative will be reffing WCC/MWC games. The financial hit would be brutal. Personally, I want to play anyone outside of UO/UW/UCLA/USC in the P12 tournament. The thought of future employement will certainly be creeping into the minds of at least some of the P12 refs.......and shading the final games of the P12 towards the future B1G members will be on their mind (to curry favor)
Do you really believe the thought of taking a 6 figure pay cut and reffing games in Cheyenne Wyoming isn't creeping into the thoughts of present P12 refs??? LOL
But I am not surprised. 90% of your fan base doesn't know that a Mafia thug bought and paid for every star that played for Wooden at UCLA. Prior to Sam Gilbert Wooden was a very average coach.
Tony Padilla refs all over the West Coast. He will do B10 games regardless of what happens in this game. He does B12 games. He does MWC games. He does WAC games. He doesn't only work for the P12. Single conference refereeing doesn't really exist anymore.
As I said, nice story you painted, but still a fictional story all the same.

lots of empty expensive seats. gonna miss games at auley avillion. sniff.
Re: (M) Game #30 Arizona at UCLA (2023-2024)
Bullshit. If the 4 new B1G members inform the B1G conference that they would not prefer using Padilla I expect that they won't. And Padilla isn't the only ref out there.MrBug708 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 9:27 pmYes Reallydmjcat wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:42 pmOh really??'MrBug708 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:17 pmThat's a nice story you painted, but that's not how it works hahadmjcat wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 7:51 pmWho are you kidding???
