At least ASU also lost.

No one will know that this was a 1 possession game with a few minutes left. Complete no show to end the game

True, but I have very low expectations for Townsend.

$800K that could have been used for the ASU kid
Love was on the decline midway through conference play last year. I feel like he’s point shaving at this point
I will see you there, or I will see you on another time

They just seem off. Can't really point to one thing.

Almost blew it, but nice upset by Xavier.

Or to keep Ballo. If we had Oumar in the lineup we would have at least 2, maybe 3 more wins. (Including today)

Tough atmosphere, earlyish tip, a team that is probably more athletic than us, and a regression to the mean.

All that being said it was a one possession game for a good long while. But we never looked capable of taking command. And then our propensity to panic kicked in.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Last FG by the UA was 7:34. Did not score at all the last 5 minutes.

Love +/- -20.
Bradley +/- -15.

ADO had the only non-negative score at 0. Veesaar was only -2 which is surprising to me.

Keep saying this, but Lloyd won't listen to me, but whatever he is doing at the 8 minute mark, do the complete opposite.

You don’t coach a team to play differently at the 8:00 minute mark. “Hey guys gather around, this is the way we are going to play differently from the first 32 minutes…”

It had always been about effort & aggressiveness which leads to stops/rebounds and free throws. But if you can’t hit a FG for the last 7-8 minutes of the game it doesn’t matter what the coaches say…you are going to lose.

Love was supposed to be the go to scorer down the stretch but that obviously is not the case.

Took me about 4 days to figure this out. Had to get Sherman and Peabody to get in the Way Back machine.
