interviews and feedback must've gone well! nice to see him commit to his decision
It's over.
Good. I prefer a firm No to a flaccid Maybe.
What is Scheer saying with that in your opinion? Is he reporting anything?
Carter has been gone ever since he entered the draft so he's not really saying anything important. Just thought it was amusing that he's apparently not officially gone.

In this day and age clicks and hits is how you make money, so it doesn't seem weird at all to me. Just the new normal of journalism.Winger wrote: Fri May 16, 2025 8:17 amThanks AzCatG.AZCatGirl wrote: Thu May 15, 2025 10:45 amCarter has been gone ever since he entered the draft so he's not really saying anything important. Bryant is, appropriately and officially, trying to do everything he can to maximize/improve his position in the draft. If Scheer isn’t saying anything then I guess its a waste of bits and bytes but it read to me like: 1. He is clinging to his prior reporting that there remains a legitimate chance of Bryant returning to Arizona and/or 2. Is trying to drum up posts/activity on his board by getting everyone’s hopes up.
Is it normal now for reporters/media members to put out tweets/posts that dont mean anything?
Seems weird.
Is that why Scheer couldnt tell you 3 weeks ago that Bryant had moved up and was gonzo?AZCatGirl wrote: Fri May 16, 2025 11:28 amIn this day and age clicks and hits is how you make money, so it doesn't seem weird at all to me. I also agree with EastCoast about Carter's camp wanting to control the narrative, and Scheer wanting to tweet the most accurate information he has.
It's the way Lloyd and staff operates. Hell when Miller was in charge, me, a literal dipshit that goes by ChooChooCat, knew about Kerr Kriisa roughly 3-4 months before he became an official commitment. Miller and his staff weren't shy about sharing info. Lloyd is just very secretive. A detail or two will come out of the bag early from time to time, like how our Carter replacement is an international prospect for instance, but you never get the full story until it's 100% done now basically. Scheer probably will find out a day or two prior to it becoming public.Winger wrote: Fri May 16, 2025 2:50 pm
FTR I have long wondered why Scheer couldnt tell us what was going on during the offseason.
