The first priority list for vaccinations is similar to this:
1. Medical staff/first responders
2. Nursing home residents
3. Essential workers (retail, food industries...)
4. Seniors 65 and older
5. Everyone else
Where's people with pre-existing conditions?

If I had to guess, nursing home residents will be way down the list. Staff at nursing homes though would be near the top.

I just turned 63 and my pre-existing condition is being an asshole. Do I still come before "5. Everyone else"?

The thing to remember with these vaccines is that it will take nearly 2 months after the first shot before you're actually immune. You need a second booster a month after the first and then it's a few weeks after that before you're good to go. So even the first people getting vaccines in a couple weeks won't be good until February. It's going to be at least until April before we really start seeing the improvements from the vaccinations. Which means the next 4 months are still going to be really bad.

I would not be surprised if the rich end up getting vaccinated way before the poor... after all... this is the American way

Two co-morbidities and one co-morbidity fits between 3-4 in both models I’ve seen.

This link lays it out really well. Persons with high risk medical conditions is # 3. No mention of nursing home residents as a priority. There is a panel meeting today so this could change. Staste governors will also have a say so each state could be different
We added a game against New Mexico State for December 12th.

You know, I haven't actually watched Akinjo play for AZ yet, so I suppose there are questions about whether he's *actually* on this team, and whether there's *actually* a season happening. But good on him for racking up these gold jerseys. I don't know where these gold jersey competitions are taking place, maybe a college hoops simulacrum. But still, congratulations, James. Keep it up!

I really don't understand why we're even trying to play games during a huge spiking 3rd wave of covid.
Well, it's a completely different direction and state, but I'll take any game we can get at this point.

It seems like we have no intention of traveling to play any OOC games. Don't know if Notre Dame has the same policy but this seems to limit our ability to get games against any legit competition. Also, it is pretty hypocritical to say its not safe for our team to travel but please travel to come play us...

I just heard a broadcaster during a game talking about it, but I think they said they were willing to travel. But yeah, there is so much unevenness in the approach to managing the season with respect to Covid. It’s all absurd.

Our fanbase is spoiled. Undefeated into December, an average margin of victory of 19 and we still don't have two key contributors playing, newcomers coming up big on the stat sheet...
What does it take to make this coddled fanbase happy?

He and Terry...boy I hope they stick around. Both of them can be really productive wings. Terry really does look like a point forward and Mathurin just needs to harness his energy.
When they get on the right page defensively, we'll have scary length on perimeter D.

I agree. If those two could stick around for another year or two they could be a scary duo on the perimeter. Throw in the possibility of Akinjo and Brown sticking around next year and we could be a defensive juggernaut. Let's pray man

My list of guys I really want back next year (and it's complicated by in theory everyone being able to return) would go:
Akinjo
Kriisa
Terry
Mathurin
J. Brown
Tubelis
Koloko
The remainder of the rotation, I'm not particularly wedded to. Baker, I worry he's irrelevant next to our 3 incoming freshmen. Goerner, haven't seen him play, no idea. Ira and Terrell could return, but I'm not sure I see the benefit on either side.

Ira and Terrell are not coming back.
Fair enough. I just meant in theory with the one year Covid extension that they could. I didn't figure it made any sense for either to return.
