The official pregame party at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row Tempe had to be moved because lots of asu fans complained and threatened to boycott the establishment if the party was held there.
Haven't been to the Tempe 4 Peaks since they did the same thing to the Arizona Road Show.
Fuck asu

They should have a literacy test for neutrals. If you fail, you can stay.

There needs to be a group of UA fans go in wearing neutral colors. When they are asked to sing the fight song -- Bear down, Arizona, Bear down red and blue.................
Guess they would have to finish outside.

7-8 with last night’s loss. If they lose to Oregon St. I say they are on the bubble.

How the hell does the 8/9 team even get considered for the tourney from a conference as weak as the PAC this year?
That win against Kansas was a long time ago.

THIS. Kansas or no Kansas, you should not be in the tournament if you have a .500 record in a weak-ass conference. If I am one of the first ones out and ASU gets in, I'm raising holy hell.

Yeah, but they built that OOC and haven't looked like a tourney team in 2 months.

It's amazing that you can be 8th in a mediocre conference and currently a 6 seed in Joe's bracket. Not to mention the only decent wins in 2 months are over 2 bubble teams. Swept by Oregon. How much weight do you really put in those Kansas, XU wins in March when you haven't looked like a tournament team since December. I know tournament seeding's are about individual performance, but CBB must be that bad this year when you're not even considered a bubble team and you haven't done much of anything in 2 months.

Oh I'm not disagreeing. More of an indictment on the system that they are nearly a lock for the tourney still despite their craptastic record since December in a bad conference.

If they lose to Oregon St., you have to think that RPI is going to take a hit especially with Cal and Stanford coming up (which even if they win won't help them) and everyone else playing in conference tournaments against competition bound to help their RPIs.

Well bracket matrix has them as a average of a 9 seed coming into today (they show up as anywhere from a 7 to an 11 on all the brackets out there). With the loss today they may need to win at least their first game of the Pac-12 tournament to make sure they're safe getting in

8-10 in a bad conference.
I don’t care where they beat Kansas. That’s not a tourney caliber team.

Their sweep at home of USC and UCLA is what's saving them. Those 2 wins and the ancient Kansas and Xavier wins are what separate them from being in the tournament and barely qualifying for the NIT. If they had lost to USC or UCLA they'd be out. As is I think if they lose to Colorado Wednesday they could be out.
