Well one step forward then....another recruit decommitted. Warren Jackson likely headed elsewhere now. Also if Pandey gets an Oregon offer as Chi indicated, he could flip.

Coming down to the wire:
National team Rankings:
Scout: UA 36th National / 7th in P12
Rivals: UA 28th National / 5th P12
247 Composite: UA 35th National / 7th P12
Rivals the outlier here. They have been all year. For instance, Rivals still has Oregon and Colorado ranked below UA. Others have them above. Expect UA to finish around 9th in P12 when final rankings drop. Thinking Utah and ASU will move ahead as they currently have half the commits UA does.

Not sure why we want 2 QB'S in this class unless RR is saying Rhett Rod sucks. Got Joiner the next year

Exactly. Last RichRod QB to go through a season uninjured? BJ Denker? You can't blame any QB recruit for bailing after seeing what happens to every QB since Matt Scott.
You run the ball against Div I LBs you will pay the price.

guess we still have to hope for Pandy, Harris, Sheer and now Wallace who is going on a trip to Nebraska AFTER tweeting he had shut down his committment. Seems like a mans word has about an hour shelf life, sometimes shorter

Plus, why can't any of them throw the ball accurately on a somewhat consistent basis and find open receivers? Anu, Dawk, Tate - none of them. Coaching?

Huh? Dude, let'd be real... the UO staff has had less than a month and I'm guessing they'll finish decently. RR will likely finish ~9 in conference recruiting like he always does.
Pandy looks like a good pickup, but WSU was his only other BCS offer. Colin Schooler looks good, too - but he had none. Now My-King Johnson had a serious offer list.
We have had some good news of late after a string of painful losses.... but we are hardly in a position to start getting cocky and talking shit about other programs.

Harvey,
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Outside of maybe 3-4 of our recruits all of them will have to RS. They are small, weak and unprepared for this level of competition.
And the 3-4 that play will do so out of complete necessity and lack of depth. We are not bringing in one stud that is actually ready to play at this level from the get go.
This is par for the course with Arizona recruiting. Another 9-10 ranked recruiting class out of 12 schools. I'm not even saying its RR fault.
It just is, what it is.
I would imagine that Arizona will be designated the new cellar dwellers year in and year out along with maybe Colorado.

Shirley, You must be kidding.
You suggesting that those saying RR cannot recruit are proven wrong because we pull 2 kids from So CA who have a combined 1 BCS offer...
Now that reads like sarcasm, considering we are likely to finish in the bottom 1/3 - 1/4 of the conference again.
PS - I would guess part of the reason Oregon cannot land Pandy is because they did not offer him.

We added a number of preferred Walk On's yesterday, and i believe Azizi Hearn is one of those.
Poutasi Poutasi does look like he committed to Cal on the 27th, but still tweeted our offer on the 28th. With a couple of his teammates already comitted it may not be a closed door. Having Wilcox back in the PAC will make recruiting these type of guys even more difficult.

Preferred Walk On's added yesterday
OL Tyson Gardener from Queen Creek
DB Aziz Hearn Oceanside (i think he's a walk on)
WR Trevor Russell Casa Grande
DE Dante Blissit Desert Edge
and offered a couple others too
S Rourke Freeburg
WR Tyree Pierson (interesting upside in this kid...hope we land him)

I think they just had a coaching change on the OL. Kid's recruitment could have been based around the old coach. But at this point it doesn't matter unless he changes his mind again.

Probably a couple starters in that group...........which is part of the issue with our program

I believe it's when you're promised a scholarship but don't get it until the following year. So you walk on for one year and then you're on scholly the next. It allows programs to over-recruit in a given year.
