I'm not sure what adjustment you can make when the opposition has a WR that can flat outrun any DB you have.
We have a serious talent deficiency on this team. Still way too many RR OKG's

it's going to take years (as in minimum of 4-5) of good to great recruiting just to get us back to a talent/depth level where we can beat the "bad" teams on talent alone.
until then, we have to out coach out scheme and out effort the other teams to win.
And we're not doing either under him so far

We the fans have spoken in trying to hold them accountable. Attendance is terrible and will be 9/7
Rushing TD to put Hawaii up 14, right through the line.
Will the welfare queens that are our coaches even attempt to respond?
Looks like the late Vegas money was onto something. Take Hawaii and the over.

Here would be my only question:
After tonight's performance, how would you exactly say this team is "honoring" Dick Tomey besides a sticker on the uniforms?
This team's minimal level of competence, even, is so far an embarrassment to the effort and competitiveness of even the worst Tomey teams.

They are showing just how good he was. Something many Arizona fans didn’t appreciate until it was too late.

I know we're less than 1 game into the 2019 season.
but.
I think it's pretty clear that the Tate of 2017 was an amazing flash in the pan that we're never going to see again.
He's closer to the 2018 version than he is the 2017 version.

This is the third game I watched today. Arizona is the only team that has no desire to be out there. It really seems that each player is going through the motions. I think it’s a HC, OC, and DC problem.

Yes. Especially how much he CARED.
A quality completely lost on a lot of people in this program right now. Even the 3-8 Tomey team would destroy this one on desire alone.

well after reading about how he's back to being healthy, last year was so many injuries etc, I'll admit to being ever-so-slightly hopeful that he would be closer to the 2017 tate.
He's just too skittish, not accurate enough, and doesnt have the running ability he had in 2017 to offset that.

When those three are just there for a paycheck, that attitude inevitably infects the players.

I thought ref said “as long as the QB doesn’t take possession “ he can bat it.
