This one suck. Although we do have a couple good looking receivers committed. Now lets land that 4 star LB and start work on both lines

Jedd won’t stop pursuing him until he signs on the dotted line.

The question is can we flip him. He has his two best buds committed here but we will be decided underdogs all year long in most games.
Oregon’s recruiting class is rediculous right now, best in the conference by far.

I wonder if the QB situation is hurting us with WR's. We missed out on both Shawn Miller (Illinois) and TMac (Oregon) who I feel like we were in the drivers seat for a good chunk of their recruitment. AJ Jones and Keyan Burnett are good targets, I would assume we continue to push for TMac but also turn up the heat on our Utah targets, McKenzie and Hagen to ensure we add another WR.

Oregon was his dream school so I don’t feel to bad this morning. I don’t have that, we blew it feeling anyway.
4 star Sterling Lane up next and we have another good shot here. We go need another tall receiver for sure though

Seems kinda lowly rated for someone with alleged offers from Auburn, FSU, UCLA, ISU and ASU
Did these other schools recruit Powell for a different position than he wanted? Are we recruiting him solely for TE? Powell has the frame to play DE as well. Either way, adding 20-30 lbs will make good use of a redshirt year. Welcome Powell!
Wish the audio didn't suck.
Looks like his folks are totally on board, maybe we won't have to worry about his mom.

Awesome. If we keep these guys, the defense recruits remind me of Stoops recruiting.

Another 4 star LB deciding soon between Nebraska and us, Tim Martin I think is his name. Was a Michigan committ until Brown left

Where'd you see that he is deciding soon?

I didn’t but just thinking most kids seem to get it done early in their season. I guess he could go all the way to December and see how things play out.

I made an oops. I got Sterling and Martin mixed up. Martin is the former Michigan commit and has been talking to Brown. I had heard we had a bit of an inside tract on him becuse he likes Brown's defense. Wouldn't it be amazing to pick him up as well.

We are currently the crystal ball pick for him over at 24/7.

My thoughts as well! No matter what you thought of his antics, Stoops poured himself into recruiting and was always good for turning up a high level prep talent or two every class.

If Sonny Dykes stays on for a few more years. I am convinced that Stoops is likely still here, or at least would have made it a few more years.

I think Stoops had some serious personal issues. A very nasty contentious divorce and an affair with the same secretary that was accusing RR of sexual harassment When his brother left you could see a change. Stoops would call out his assistants on the sideline during a game in front of players. His brother would get back in his face for it and make him calm down. His other assistants wouldn't do that. Then he started trying to micromanage everything.

Stoops was always a ticking time bomb.
But boy, did we have some pretty good players under him compared to today.

Zeke Berry was just named to the All California team.
If we can hang onto these commitments, this may be a stellar recruiting class.

I like the sound of that, they need some "dudes". Hopefully a Safety who can come in tomorrow and play this weekend.

Can he still play? He is a fifth year senior who has already transferred once. He could be a decent stop gap until Fifita or someone in the following class is ready.

He can redshirt the rest of 2021 and play next year.
