I don’t understand this tweet.
I don't either but 502 is the Louisville area code. Skaggs went to high school there before her family moved to AZ.

UL fans have been confident since they got involved. We've got to figure out NIL regardless of Bryant's decision.Merkin wrote: Fri Apr 21, 2023 1:24 pmdmjcat wrote: Tue Apr 18, 2023 3:21 pm In a good sign another Crystal Ball just dropped for AZ (Carter Bryant)

Guess it's a lock for UL then. If UA can't compete with NIL money with Gonzaga, not even going to think about how much UL has.
Everyone in Tucson giving a little bit still isn't enough to compete with the big boys.PHXCATS wrote: Fri Apr 21, 2023 9:07 pm Obviously the big whales matter a lot but so do the regular people who give a little bit

Phillips is going to be a star IMO. Love his game.

Everyone gives $20 you don't think an extra $20 Million helps the collectives? Bull fucking shit loser talk

I fucking love this post.dovecanyoncat wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2023 3:28 pm All of Tucson is running players off the team and recruits out of town. It's appalling and morally reprehensible. You could have been out on the streets panhandling for loose change to raise the funds needed to get us the point guard we so desperately need but instead you’re on the internet firing off the lamest of comebacks.PHXCATS wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2023 6:18 pmBeachcat97 is at least a parody. Dove is a retired Forester, which makes him a genius by definition. He can look at the seemingly most trivial details and see how minute changes will impact the boarder landscape hundreds of years from now.Merkin wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2023 10:07 pmShades of Longhorned. IMNSHO, the ONLY problem with "Crystal Balls" recruiting projections is the people who think they are worth anything more than brief moment of elation upon reading them. After that, to give them any credence, or even mention them to anyone else is to reveal oneself to be uncritical!!CardiacCats97 wrote: Sun Apr 23, 2023 10:07 am The issue with the crystal balls is that they’ve become a circle jerk. One school “insider” hears positive news and the rest then jump in to mirror that prediction based on nothing more than the idea that momentum is swinging that way.
I feel like five years ago these predictions were based on actual journalism. Calling the family, texting the player, getting his AAU coach’s take, and talking to the recruiters. Now it’s “I don’t want to be the last one to predict this thing it seems like everyone else is predicting”.
Merk made the point either in this thread or elsewhere that the other school he's mainly considering is L'ville, who will almost certainly be able to offer a more competitive NIL, if that's what this comes down to. So I'm not holding my breath for Bryant coming to AZ. Hopefully I'm wrong.dmjcat wrote: Sun Apr 23, 2023 9:23 am We picked up another crystal ball for Carter Bryant.....if that means anything. Lloyd saw both play this weekend. I don't know who he is prioritizing. Adding Thomas early would definitely help, assuming he can come in and contribute like Boz.IndianaZonaFan wrote: Sun Apr 23, 2023 6:01 pm We have to get one of Diallo or Thomas right? Does Lloyd have a published schedule? I know he comes to the little town I live in to see a couple of recruits and have no idea when he is here. The primary player Lloyd wants, although believe he did offer his teammate too.
I don't think so. I'm just going by what Scheer and others report on Twitter.Merkin wrote: Mon Apr 24, 2023 12:38 pmDoes Lloyd have a published schedule? Well crap, he wants a popcorn NIL deal, so does that mean we lost him to Wichita st. or Creighton or maybe Iowa st. Don't they have that big popcorn money from Pioneer seed?
