When I was a kid in Northern Ohio this happened, then we had a big freeze - I could ice skate the 8 blocks to school for over two months without ever leaving ice... Every backyard became a hockey rink that winter. We'd take Sheets to the golf course, and wind sail on our skates - got some pretty good speed!!

Was getting gas at QT around 8 this morning and it was sleeting/ice raining. Little piles of slushy ice building up everywhere. It's like a real winter!

Odd temperature swings here. In Tucson it was 62 on March 18th, it will be 93 on March 22, and then back to 67 by March 26th.

Crazy rains in sac last week and I was out hiking on Sunday. Forded a creek about 1-1.5 feet of running water. Engine didn’t Hydrolock on me, but yesterday evening I noticed a rattling sound when idle.

For those that know cars, how fucked is my engine? Gonna have the oil and transmission fluid changed today. Outside of the noise the car is running fine.

I’m fucked....engine’s fine but radiator and alternator and some other stuff is not.

Nice knowing you guys. This is likely my last post because my wife is gonna kill me when she sees the quote/bill.

I hope the gardener is astute enough to question any freshly dugs patches in the yard.
